Homemade Pizza Recipe


  1. Disolve the yeast in the cold water.

  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, and yeast mix.

  3. Knead the dough on the table for 5 mins. Add the oil and knead 5 more mins.

  4. Let the dough to prove at room temp in a bowl covered with film.

  5. Remove the excess of gas from the dough and divide in 4 equal parts.

  6. Shape the portions into balls pushing the bottom to the inside.

  7. Let the rounded portions to prove for 30 mins.

  8. With some fine semolina, push the dough with the fingers to a round shape.

  9. Pass the flat dough to a pizza baking tray.

  10. Add the toppings. Cook in a preheated oven at 190c for 15 mins.

Homemade Pizza


    For the dough:

  • 500g flour 00 (strong white flour)
  • 350g cold water
  • 10g salt
  • 20g extra virgin olive oil
  • 7g fresh yeast (or 3.5g of dry one)
  • Some fine semolina (to roll the flat pizza base)

    For the toppings (this is a suggestion):

  • 75g tomato sauce
  • 50g bacon
  • 30g jalapenos
  • 75g mozzarella (grated)
  • Tsp of dried oregano
