Meatballs in sauce Recipe


  1. Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl and leave it to rest for 1 hour in the fridge.

  2. Portion into a 35 gms balls.

  3. Coat all the meatballs with flour.

  4. Deep Fry the meatballs until golden color. Reserve

    For the Sauce:

  1. Toast the flour using a pan. Do not burn it.

  2. In a pan cook the leeks and garlic with olive oil without taking colour.

  3. Add the toasted flour onto the leeks and garlic and mix well.

  4. Add the white wine and then after the water. Mix well so there are no lumps on flour.

  5. Add the rest of ingredients and keep on cooking till consistency.

  6. Add the meatballs and cook with lid on for 20 mins on simmering.

  • 500 gms Minced Beef
  • 24 gms Fine Breadcrumbs
  • 50 gms Chopped Onions
  • 3 Whole Eggs
  • 1 Chopped garlic clove
  • 8 gms Fresh Chopped Parsley
  • 12 gms Salt

For the Sauce:

  • 100 gms Chopped Leeks
  • 3 Chopped Garlic Cloves
  • 60 gms Toasted flour
  • 60 gms White wine
  • 360 gms Hot Water
  • Salt, Black pepper and Bayleaf
