Ponty ~ Chicken burger Recipe

Method:

  1. Fillet the breast of the chicken.

  2. Chop the garlic and parsley.

  3. In a clean bowl add the chicken fillets, the parsley, garlic, wine, lemon zest, juice and the salt. Mix well and leave it in the fridge for 24 hours.

  4. Using flour, eggs and breadcrumbs, pane the chicken fillets already marinated.

  5. Deep fry them in vegetable oil turning them 2 mins each side.

  6. Serve in a white bread bun with lettuce, tomato, mayo.

  7. Can be served with a side of fries or salad.

Note: As a burger normally is served with French fries or salad.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Chicken Breasts
  • 2 Garlic Cloves
  • 15 ml White wine
  • 1 Lemon (Zest and Juice)
  • 8 g Fresh Parsley
  • 6 gms Salt

For serving:

  • 4 White Bread Buns
  • 4 Slices Beef Tomato
  • 4 Iceberg Lettuce leaves
  • 4 Spoons Hellmann’s Mayonnaise
